can i take leads off a battery and put them on the motor to see if it turns ?
don't want to try it until i get info . also what else could be the problem ?
the receiver seems to be working . i haven't fooled with this thing in a few years. got the itch again cause we bought one for my son
any help would be great

RE: no motor function
Sorry, I thought it was an aircraft. They have an ESC that needs to be armed so the prop doesn't start spinning unexpectedly. I know nothing about RC Cars. Usually, on aircraft, you turn on the TX then RX and ESC, the ESC gives you some indication it is on, you then advance the throttle to full on and then to full off. It beeps or flashes or something telling you the ESC is armed. Which means when you
advance the throttle, the prop starts to spin.

[8D]Also you might reverse your throttle setting...this might be your problem. Remember you have to Advance the throttle to High...then move it to Low...then back up to
high to arm the throttle..
high to arm the throttle..
