Default Increase steering deadzone?

Hi. I have a Spektrum DX3.0 running a Hitec 5955TG digital servo in my rock crawler. Now, this is not a big deal, but the servo whines when it can't find a perfect center. Is there a way to increase the "deadzone" either in the servo or my radio a few degrees, to avoid having the server keep trying to find center and whining all the time?

Thanks!
