Default AR6200 and Binding Problem

I have an AR6200 receiver and a DX7 Transmitter. I have bound the receiver successfully, before, with a 4.8v pack, but now, when I attach the Binding Plug to the receiver and plug in the battery, the lights do not Blink. They just go Bright and then Dim.

I am using a 7.2v NiMh receiver battery. as I do not have a 4.8v pack. The specs on the receiver claim that it is compatible with 3.5v-9.6v. Is that true? I have not tried to connect a 4.8v-6v battery, yet,

Default RE: AR6200 and Binding Problem

I''m also having trouble binding my AR6200 receiver with my DX6i. I''m using a 4.8v NiMH 1500mah receiver battery but no luck. The actual voltage is reading 6.1 volts as soon as I pull it off the charger. My voltage on the radio is 5.1 volts

When I turn the receiver on I get the light to blink, but then goes off. I try to bind the radio and receiver but it just continues to beep.

Any suggestions would be great.

Just a quick note.

I found out that you have to
use a Spektrum switch harness...

I found that out last night..... I was using a JR switch harness with a red and brown 2 wire connection, and I switched to the spektrum 3 wire, brown, red, orange wire and it worked prefectly.

I was using the Binding Plug directly into the receiver. It looks like the receiver is defective or was damaged some how. I sent it back.
