Default Help with Receiver/transmitter...?

Hey guys... i run a Proboat Shockwave 36, and when the boat flipped the one time, the receiver dropped overboard and sunk along with the battery pack... so......
that puts me 2 items down... i have a proboat transmitter ( radio ) and im in need of a 2 channel ( cheap ) receiver....
it runs at 27 mhz and i have a crystal for the handheld radio... but not a matching crystal anymore for the new one... how would i get the same one?
ive done some research but im a total noob when it comes to radio stuff..
i think this would work? R152JE 2-Channel futaba receiver. But what about the crystal of the old one/
?
Thanks guys,
Justin

fastpepper,

what we need to know is who makes the radio's for proboat.

reason I ask is, companies do not all use the same frequency shift. Some use negative and some use positive shift, for example a Futaba with a JR won't work.
once you find out if the Tx and Rx are compatible, find out what channel your Tx is on the 27Mhz (AM or FM) than buy a Tx/Rx crystal set.

Dan.
