Default Servo ends for new receiver

I just bought a new Airtronics MX Sport and when I went to install it the servo wire endswon't fit into the servo. There is a little tab on each servo end that prevents it from fitting into the receiver, can I just shave that tab off to make it fit the reciever?

Futaba male connectors have a polarity table. JR and Airtronics rely on the shape of the connector. You can shave off the tab and bevel the edges on one side of the connector. You could also buy a universal extension from MPI.

Yes, shave or sand off the little plastic tab on one edge of any Futaba servos. you may also have to bevel one or more corners, check the receiver connector to see if that is necessary.
