Default jr 3103 conversion to 2.4

hey guys has anybody used the new spectrum conversion from horizon hobby on this radio? I'm getting ready to make the leap to 2.4. I'm trying to decide if I should do this or buy the new hitec. I love my 8103 but alot of fields are going to 2.4 only . thanks chris

The Spektrum Module works great on the XP8103 and XP9303.

Rich thanks for the reply, When you installed it did you have to reprogram all your models? How big a deal would it be to switch back and forth from 2.4 to the standard jr module? Its just a thought I have about 7 models right now and I'm never had a glitch using the pcm on my jr. thanks again chris

The radio programing doesn't change. I don't think the transmitting module has anything to do with programming and encoding.

Installing the 2.4 module just changes the tramsmission band to 2.4. Aside from having failsafe when you bind, all programming stays the same. A PCM Tx must be set to PPM.
