Default New Futaba System????

Has anyone heard of a new system being worked by Futaba called “Bus technology”, or something similar? This new system has only one wire (aside from the antenna) coming from the receiver and forks off to all the various servos that are assigned a code (possibly a multiplex type) that identifies it according to its function. This seems like an interesting concept, but I’m not sure if this is true, or I’m being played by a troll at the flying field.

A little insight from anyone who with info would be appreciated, as I have not been able to find anything through my searches.

Please check our website and click on Video Update in the right hand corner and you will see a demonstration of the new SBus system from Futaba.

Neat stuff, but my worry would be what happens if that one wire chafes, breaks, etc? You lose everything that is hooked to it, right? I can see where it would make big planes with their required multiple long extensions, etc, easier to deal with, though.

I'd really like to be able to assign a servo a channel, then plug it into the receiver wherever is most convenient.  This sounds a lot like that.

We saw the S-Bus system at the Toledo show... Pretty amazing

The Show coverage should go live pretty soon, or you could search YouTube for the RCU videos (Which are already uploaded)
