Servos in wing acting as flaps
I am using a Airtronics VG6000 with a 92777 receiver and have a servo in each wing half, with the y-harness connected the ailerons work as flaps. Flap control is not on. Thought maybe a bad receiver, changed out receiver and had the same problem. I have used this type of setup before in older Airtronics radios and had no problems. Any ideas on how get the servos to work correctly?[sm=tired.gif]

RE: Servos in wing acting as flaps
What servos?
Some can be set with a programmer, some are made with an R model that means reversed, one could also be mounted wrong which would make it work like that.
Also you could have inadvertently gotten a reversing Y harness by accident?
If you dont have programmable servos just get a reversing Y harness and it will fix the issue.

RE: Servos in wing acting as flaps
Are you sure you have the mechanical linkages setup correctly????
Both servos should turn in the same direction on a normal two servo aileron setup, the left and right servo/linkages must be a mirror image setup.
Now a question??? Why use a "Y" harness when your radio supports dual aileron servos[:-]

RE: Servos in wing acting as flaps
I found the problem late last night, I had mounted both servos on their mounts the same direction and did not notice it. I turned one servo around and everything works just fine. Thank you for your help.
