Default Converting JR 10 SXll to FASST

Any problems with converting my JR 10 over to a Hobbico JM912 FASST JR Module 9-12 channel?

Only thing I can think of is, that lockouts and brownouts are not included[8D]
OK, I've been flying in the FASST lane since '08 without any problems whatsoever, so I'm a bit biased. The FASST module for JR looks like it has a very well designed case/antenna[8D]
Good luck,
Pete

Thanks Pete, it was almost too hard for this loyal JR man to handle (since 1982)sob....ordered one today along with a Futaba Rec R6008HS for a start. Will try it in a cheap plane first.
I was going to stick with the 72 Frec. for another year but too many large funflys require 2.4 that I attend.
And I can keep my favorite thing....my touch-screen transmitter.....and yep, I see a 14 heading my way with it's own touchscreen.

Hi Jim,

Here's more info: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_97...tm.htm#9775609

If you go over to the Jet forum, you will find more about this module being used.

Regards,
Doug.

It will work fine.

Just be aware that the module will swap the output of Channels 1 & 3.

This is due to built-in failsafe on many Futaba FASST receivers being set to automatically cut the throttle to idle, which is channel 3 on Futaba radios.

Will its resolution or reaction speed decrease?
