Futaba 9156 or Hitec 7955MG ???
I have a 50cc Pilot Rc Yak that has Hitec 5645's on all flying surfaces, but I need a little more for the pull-pull rudder.I have been waiting to pick up a new hitec 7955 but found futaba 9156 on sale and wonder if that wouldn't be the best option. I love Futaba equipment when I can afford it!!!

RE: Futaba 9156 or Hitec 7955MG ???
Well, I had found a couple that didn't have much time on them for a killer price, but as usual, I waited to pull the trigger and they are gone. Tower has the Futaba 9156 for $119 and the Hitec 7955 for the same price. I think I will go with the Futaba. Thanks for the info.

Just FYI, TBM has the servos for quite a bit cheaper. I don't know what the total cost looks like once you factor in discounts and shipping, but look at TBM, too.

Futaba servos center much better than Hitecs. I have the 7XXX series in my Yak and they seem to spend a good amount of time working to find center. Seems to me that they move more than a click or two of trim just trying to do so.
I would go with the Futabas. I won't put Hitec servos in anything except an experiment from now on.

59xx and 79xx hitec servos will center well if you program them to.
The benefit of using these hitter servos is the programming of travels and do multi-servo travel match/sync, without the need of a quite high end radio.
I use hitec servos in my iMac applications. For pattern ones, futaba servos are fine.
