Airtronics recall repair
 

Hello! I am just curious but has anyone sent their sd10g out for the recall repair? If so how long did it take to get it back? Mine was delivered to ATX on 11 Jan. and I haven't heard anything since. I am I rushing things or does this seem long? Just curious!

I mailed mine on January 18th. I sent an email asking the status yesterday and got this reply. Send them a email. [email protected]

I sent my SD-10G in just before the Christmas holiday and it took about three weeks.

My first run SD-10G has been there for some weeks, as I want upgraded Sliders. Those parts are still in transit.

I understand the RF deck (FHSS-1) upgrade has been attended to.

I sent my radio in Dec 17th received it back on the 30th (I live on the east coast). Considering there were two weekends and a major holiday in between there, I would say that was pretty good.

I mailed mine out on Monday, 7 Feb. It arrived at the service center on the afternoon of Wednesday, 9 Feb. On Friday 11 Feb., I received an email that my SD-10G was on its way back home. Pretty darn quick turn around right now.

I did a google, ended up at Airtronics website, how novel! My radio is in the range of SN's included in the recall, so I boxed her up and mailed it today. Argh. The RF board needs fixing and can only be done by a qualified techy. Jon

Wow!!! I just got my transmitter back. It took a couple of weeks. My fellow club member sent his in Monday 2/14 Priority Express (2 day) from Oklahoma. He got an email from Global Hobbies Service with a FedEx Ground tracking number indicating that it shipped yesterday 2/16. Should be delivered Monday 2/21. Now that is fast!!! Basically a 1 day turnaround. Thanks Global Hobbies!
