Can you use the same transmitter for 2 cars?

I'm pretty new to r/c and was woundering if I could use my RC10GT's transmitter also for an electric car instead of buying another transmitter. I was planning on buying a Tamiya Mini Cooper to play around with and don't really want to spend over $150. I know I'll have to buy a new receiver and servos. This may not be a good idea because I have my steering/throttle trim set for my GT. It may also be impossible to spend less than $150 on a car anyways. Advice??????

Well, I'm into airplanes, not cars but sure you can do that. I've got one transmitter that's been used for four airplanes in the past. Just make sure the receiver you buy is on the same channel as your transmitter. As far as your trims go, try adjusting the mechanisms in the cars so that the trims stay centered. Hope that helps.

You most certainly can use 1 Tx for as many cars as you want. Especially if you have a computer radio. I have a KO Propo radio that has memory for 10+ cars. If you don't have a computer radio, you can still run as many cars as you want, although it will be difficult to keep track of all of your trim settings..........
