Euro r/c gear is all on 53 mHz and doesn't employ the positive shift/negative shift nonsense that we here in the US have to put up with.

Euro gear is not all on 53 Mhz and many different bands are used. Italy uses 27, 35, 40 and two channels on 72Mhz. With 35Mhz being the aircraft only band.

Barrywhite, Visioneer is quite correct on the reason it works in europe though. Its only in North America that we have to contend with different modulation shifts used by different manufacturers in an attempt to control their customers spending. Most of the rest of the world use Positive shift.
