another 7C question...antenae?
 

Just bought a brand new Futaba 7C radio.The transmitter antenae is smaller/shorter and girth is smaller compared to some others/older 7C's i've seen at the field.What's up with that?Any body have an answer?

The obvious answer is because they put a different antenna on it at some point in the manufacturing process.

Does it really matter as long as it works? :)

If you're that curious you could always ask Bill and Krysta in the Futaba Direct Support forum but things like that get updated or changed over time as suppliers change so I wouldn't sweat it. The actual antenna for a 2.4 system isn't but 2.5cm, the rest of that is just a casing to get it a little higher and away from the rest of the electronics.
