Quick Q about 2.4 Ghz

I bought a budget friendly 2.4Ghz system as my first 2.4Ghz system. I just wanted to know if the Rx antenna is supposed to stay inside my model plane or be wired and left hanging outside. Theres no specified instruction in the model. Thanks!

Depends upon the material the model is made of, if foam plastic then no problem if left inside.
Whilst a diferent brand, the principle is the same, so a good guide with pictures:

The model is made of Balsa wood

Balsa construction is not an issue. However, make sure to route the antennas as far away from batteries, servos, engines, etc as you can. Metal of any type can block 2.4G signals so keeping antennas routed away from metal is a good practice.
