7.4 Li-Ions w/ Futaba 6008 unregulated ???

If I use a TBM ultra power li-ion 7.4 volts without regulator can this possibly damage the receiver? I know that right after a full charge these batteries are up closer to 8 volts. Thanks for the help.

No, the receiver will be just fine, the servos is what you need to worry about.

+1 on what DougV wrote. Bax has stated a similar confirmation. Search the vendor only area and you will see that.
