lesson learned
I just got a Futaba 6 channel receiver from Hong Kong thru Ebay. A great price $25 + shipping. There is only one small problem. It doesn't work.

RE: lesson learned
Probably because all, except North America are positive shift. What frequency is it? Try it with an Airtronics or JR TX.

I just got a Futaba 6 channel receiver from Hong Kong thru Ebay. A great price $25 + shipping. There is only one small problem. It doesn't work. Shall we assume the modulation(AM-FM / PPM-PCM), frequency and lastly the band (72mhz?) is of your needs? |
RE: lesson learned
Its a PPM rx on the 72mhz hi band. It should work with a ch 50 xtal. I will try it with an Airtronics tx. If it works maybe I can trade it to someone for a negative shift receiver.

RE: lesson learned
I found the problem. Its a single conversion receiver. It will probably work if I can find a crystal for it. You might want to consider this if you buy one on Ebay. There are 16 more for sale
I have a single conversion Multiplex receiver that works just fine. I have no problem using that kind of receiver |
