Hitec HS-M7990TH

Hello,
I'm building a FB jets F100 and this jet has massive elevator panels
Looking for 2 rock solid play free servo's to control these panels, there is no such thing as overpower when it comes to a 30kg 300kph jet.
The HS-M7990TH looks suitable, does anyone out there got experience with these.
Experience tought me numbers and price tag does not guarantee anything, some expensive very promising looking Savox servo's were very dissapointing in the past.

For flaps, ailerons and rudder I would use MKS HV 777, read nothing but good things about these, but the Hitec specs seem to be of even a higher level.

Kind regards Johan

The HS-7980TH and HS-M7990TH are both roughly 1.25x bigger than a conventional standard sized servo so keep that in mind- knowing how jets are typically assembled with servos inside of the stabs, they may not fit at all. They are definitely monstrous on torque but you very likely will not need 700+oz in of torque, even on a 300kph jet. The HSB-9380TH is my servo recommendation, it'll hold up to the high loads associated at those speeds and provide butter smooth operation and super low current draw. They are usually a lot easier to find than the HS-M7990TH. You can use the HSB-9380TH on all of your surfaces and have a rock solid jet. One thing about the HSB series servos is their torque does not fade like a coreless servo does- some coreless servos claim 500+oz in of torque but can fade to almost half of that when the movement of the servo is fully extended when the geometry changes. The HSB-9380TH makes 472oz in of torque and will always push that regardless of where at arm sits.

I use these on my 107" Pilot Edge 540 120CC, have yet to find their limit.
