Optical Kill Switch Causing Receiver to Cycle Off and On
On my new gasser set up I have one battery that runs the receiver and another battery that runs the ignition. Connected to the ignition is an optical kill switch. When I turn the optical kill switch on (using the transmitter), the ignition comes on (the optical kill switch LED light comes on) and as soon as that happens the receiver turns off and the ignition goes off. Then the reciever will come back on which then turns the optical kill switch on and the ignition and then the receiver shuts off and the ignition shuts off. It keeps cycling like this over and over. What's the deal?

How is your switch set up? Is it in it's own channel and is there a mix activated that you don't know about? Also what equipment are you using?

Did you happen to monitor the receiver voltage while this is going on?

Well it happened again.
I just keep falling for it. A handsome OP comes into the forum, with few posts to his name and starts a thread, desperate for an answer. And people like me are willing to offer it. Do we find out if our advice was good? No. Do we find out if our advice was bad? No. Do we even know if the OP returned and read what we gave him? No. A wham, bam and not even a thank you ma'am. I just feel so used. |
as well you should, you sl*t<G>

Stuff like this really use to rub me the wrong way  but I've gotten used to it so unfortunately these days I most times only offer my assistance where I think it will really be appreciated..

It's just humor. Mongo caught it.
I guess some people could overreact that way, though. |
