Futaba 18 mz question

hi
i have a new futaba 18 mz with teo R7008sb receiver in my jet ( first for chanel 1-9 and second 10-16 chanel). I have two battery lipo and double switch .

the question is if i plug first batt and first switch in the first receiver , and second batt and swtich to second receiver , can i
use a wire in sbus port in each receiver to prevent a batt or switch fail to make sure each receiver have current if one batt fail?

Or the best is i use a Y connector to put each batt in two receiver.
i not use sbus servo.

Using two batteries is a good idea, but what you propose will not provide the advantage of one "taking over" if the other fails. This is because you'll have a common ground and common power wires from each battery to each rx.

You'd be better off not cross connecting the rx power supplies. Depending on how many servos you have, you might want to feed each rx with two power leads from their respective batteries as the current flow will be limited by servo wire size power connection to the rx. Good quality gold plated pin servo connectors are only good for about 3.5 to 4.0 amps continuous. The less expensive silver silver variety, can only carry about half that current.
