Restoring a 1984 famous Mitsubishi pajero with problems

Hi all

I'm a novice at repairing these cars but I found this one in my loft from when i was a kid my grandad owned it and gave it to me

Any way the issue I have steering but no drive the motor is fine as I have tested it and I have also tested the receiver buy moving the channels of the steering both work fine.

The motor does not make any noise or do anything when powered on it seems like no power is getting the motor. The servo for the drive moves as it should to the points but no power goes to the motor

The battery is fine as I've tested it in another tamiya Ford focus.

Any help as I'm pretty stumped

Thanks
