Older Futaba Radio

I just recently purchased a plane from one of our old timers in my club, and the RADIO is a FUTABA model # FPT5UA (AM) I was looking the servos over and found that they pin connectors 3 littles pins sticking out the end where you would plug into the other lead,
can this type of servo and leads be used with my newer computer radio (Futaba J) ? a friend of mine said that he thought FUTABA had adapters for this type of application but, wasn't sure.

IF ANY ONE OUT THERE HAS INFO PLEASE RESPOND.

Thank you
George

RE: Older Futaba Radio

Those are the old Futaba (G) plugs. Yes you can use the servos and at one time G to J adapters were avaliable but expensive. It may be difficult to find the adapters any more. Its easy and far more economical just to splice on some old (J) plugs from dead servos. The polarity is still the same with center pin positive.
