9c Tranmitter module
 

Hi, I replaced my 9c transmitter module (ch 21 to ch 25) using a tk instead of the tp. My green rf light does not work with the TK although everything else works and I flew my electic plane fine. Is this normal? The spec sheet stated that a TK could replace the TP but that a TP could not replace a TK.

Hopefully Futaba support will answer for you, first hand information is always the best. Myself, I probably would have purchased the correct one or sold then purchased the TP.
Ask this in the manufactures support forum, may get a faster reply!

Thanks for your response.

Checked with Futaba support and was told that indeed the TK should work in the 9C ( though they recommended using the correct module TP) and the green rf light should come on. Their guess was a bad module. I sent it back and ordered the TP which came in yesterday and works fine. My thinking in ordering the TK in the first place was if it works why not. I would have more of a market to sell (works in both 9c or 9z) if I decided to change channels in the future.
