Airtronics/Sanwa RD8000 Programming question
 

Hey

I would like to know if its possible to use the 3 position flaps switch for flaperons and spoilerons. I want the flaperons to deploy when I move the switch to the middle position and spoilerons when the switch is in the lowest position.

Does anyone know if this is possible? How?

I've got an RD6000 Super, but I think the programming is pretty much the same....

I think you would have to have it set up so that at the flap switch middle position, the ailerons are neutral. Then you could move the switch to the up position and have the ailerons go up, and go down to flaperons when you move the switch down.

To program it...I haven't tried it... try setting your flap switch to middle position, centre your aileron servos and adjust linkage to keep ailerons neutral.

Then, you should be able to move the flap switch to the down position and adjust the endpoint to give you the deflection you want.
