Xmitter Repair

My old second hand and only Jr xmitter just died. Did continuity checks, battery checks, etc., but no dice. I guess I need the names of some reliable xmitter repair folks. Anybody out there got some info?
Thanks.

RE: Xmitter Repair

Send it to Horizon Hobby JR repair. No one is better or significantly cheaper (except me, but I am retired from fixing radios, so don't ask) fixing JR radios. They want a letter describing circumstances and a daytime phone number. I think the labor is under $40 an hour.

Danny has a link to the proper address.

RE: Xmitter Repair

Thanks MO_Radio_Tech. I'll do as you suggest. Any suggestions on buying a new middle of the road xmitter? Is any particular channel on 72 mhz any better or worse than another or is it a matter of what's the most available (least used) in my particular area. Is there any reason to choose the lower frequency (26 mhz?) over 72?
