transmitter

just tried charging up to go flying, plugged in rx and tx as always to hobbico mkII quick charger. went down to basement a 1/2 hr. or so later one side was blinking to rx indicating trickle charge on that side. the tx side was still charging at fast rate.let it go for about another hr. went down still charging went to move transmitter and noticed it was hot.pulled battery out of tx and it was too hot to hold onto. will throw battery away but what should i do about the tx? send it to futaba to be checked? 7cap w/nt8s600b sanyo battery.

RE: transmitter

No. It is unlikely the transmitter was damaged in this process. I'd just get a new battery pack and try it in the transmitter.
