Reciever Swap

I swapped my 9 channel JR PCM reciever out of my plane and put in a JR 7 channel FM reciever.

I changed my xmitter from PCM to PPM of course.

My question is should* I have to make any adjustments on the throws or do all recievers read the signals the same?

I would think you would be able to swap them out and go fly, right?

I'm going to check them anyway but I was just wondering if people do this all the time.

I need my PCM for my gas plane and the FM for the glow.

RE: Reciever Swap

the radio programming is all in the transmitter itself. As long as you didn't make any changes in the servos, linkages , control horns, etc You souldn't have to make any changes. simply unpluging and plugging the servos in the new reciever does not physically change any servos, linkages, control horns or whatever else.
