Micro Antenna ?
I have a Hitech Electron 6 receiver that I have installed in a Fliton Prodigy powered with a Hacker A-30-16M. Due to the size of the plane, I have a microantenna installed (Lightenna) and I have had flawless operation.
I am now moving this receiver into a Fliton Extra 330S powered by a Axi 4130/16 motor, Jeti 77A ESC and two TP 3S2P 4200 packs in series. Its a bigger plane and hence have room in the fuselage for the full length antenna and thought this would be a good idea to maximize the range/signal reception considering the larger size and hence larger pattern of this plane. Any thoughts on this? |
RE: Micro Antenna ?
In other words, can I remove the Lightenna re-solder the original antenna (I still have it) back to the receiver without issue?

RE: Micro Antenna ?
Sure, you can put the regular antenna back on...should be fine. If you want to become an expert on antenna's read this: http://www.rc-cam.com/ant_exp.htm It's worth reading.
