PMXing
Hello---I seem to be running out of PMX's--I am running FNP & ALV, but when I want to mix R-E I have to end up using 2 mixes (one for each half) even though they are already combined in the ALV. What am I missing?? or doing wrong??
I need a total of 4 mixes, but if I have to sacrifice 1 mix per surface half I am going to come up way short. Thanx Ralph |
RE: PMXing
Hello Ralph,
what kind of radio are you using? However, you're missing the LINK option, within PMIX settings. You'll need one mix for R -> E and one mix for R -> Ailerons. Let us know your radio type! |
RE: PMXing
If you are using a 9C, there is a linking priority that I haven't quite figured out yet. You can program it to link, but if you add another mix, it can disable the link that was set. Make sure that the link option is available. SOmetime it is not because another mix disabled that menu item for you. (this is the only issue I have with the 9C)

RE: PMXing
oops, it's a 9zwcII
Is not the link function used to link 2 or more mixes? I am using the ALV with one servo on each elevator half. I would think since the servos are already slaved thru the ALV function that I would only have to use 1 mix and the secondary servo would follow. I must be missing something, but I don't want to waste (2) mixes just on the elevator. |

RTK
Check your LINK functions - I had the same problem when I first got my 9ZWCII. Also, have you downloaded and read the additional documentation off the futaba-rc.com website? Safe Flying! |
RE: PMXing
We moved this to the general radios forum because of all the responses.

RE: PMXing
Thanx for all the help, blikseme300 put me on the right track. I now understand what I was missing and how it actually works.

RE: PMXing
Ralph,
with the 9Z in order to do the mixes you need to press the LNK button in the SLAVE channel selection. |
