Hitec TX / JR RX compatability?

Hitec /JR compatability problem? Lost my second plane today when it apparently flew out of range at 300'. I'm running a Hitec Eclipse TX and both planes had a new JR R700 RX. Both planes ground checked good antenna up/down, engine running/off. No question both planes flew out of range. I flew a second plane today after the crash with the same TX with no problem.
Any ideas?

Hitec TX / JR RX compatability?

Unless your receivers are specifically purchased for Hitec/Futaba or have a switchable shift, Jr and Hitec are not compatible. Hitec/Futaba use a negative shift and JR/Airtronics use a positive shift. 'kinda suprised that they worked at all!
