The 6X isn't offered by Futaba as a transmitter only; however some shops such as centralhobbies and brucknerhobbies do split up systems and sell them as individual components.

I encourage you to research your point of purchase and confirm, asuming you are in the US, that you are purchasing from an authorized agent and not 'gray market' dealers who are selling systems which were not purchased through the exclusive distributor, in violation of their contract with Futaba.
