Problem with new JR xf421ex transmitter
 

Hi,

I am having an issue with my JR transmitter and hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction. This JR XF421EX came with a Hangar 9 mustang PTS I purchased new a couple months ago. The major problem I'm having is that it is not switching to the slave box when I flip the trainer switch. We have a Futaba radio at the field for this very use and it is working with other people transmitters. I have the correct adapter cable connected and the crystal was removed from the slave radio. We even tried another Futaba radio to no avail. it's not that it stopped working, it has NEVER worked. I figured I would ask here before I call up for service.

Came up with a decent solutuion.... I picked up a cheap 4ch JR as a slave box. Works just fine, and I can either donate it to the field or sell it off.
