futaba 3305 servo, not with NiMH???

Ok guys, servo question here...:D

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXDWF8&P=ML

I was eye balling these servo's for in my Funtana X 50, but....
I use 1450 MaH batteries, 6V....NiMH.
According to the describtion, Futaba recommends only NiCD batteries for these servo's.

Is there a reason for that??is my hydrimax battery NiMH not to be recommended for these servo's??

Thanks for the response...;)

RE: futaba 3305 servo, not with NiMH???

Dont worry about it.

That warning originated when the first couple of generations of NiMH cells had a high internal resistence and the voltage dropped off under a severe load such as digital servos are capable of drawing. Newer cells and especially the higher capacity ones are fine, just buy quality cells and you won't have any problems.
