G'day Mate,
These days, I only use ball raced servos, they centre better than non ball raced servos, less drag, more consistant, they cost very little extra, & you are not chasing that perfect trim every flight.
My girlfriend uses em on her trainer, & once trimmed, I has never needed retrimming, not counting elevator of course, which has to be retrimmed a click or two for wind, but ailerons & rudder centre perfectly every time, we are using JR 539's, I use the same model servos in my 27% Giles 202, on ailerons & elevators.
So go for ball raced servos, if you can, & save yourself hassles.
