I have just finished my ModelTech Magic. I would like to set up some mixing so that on 3D Rates, my ailerons mix with my elevator. Can someone please give me some hints on how to do this? I lost the owners manual for it. Shame on me...

Do two mixes.

#1: Aileron - Elevator. Set it at whatever percentage you want, but for the magic, jsut hit 100% :). You may need to go -100% to get the right travel.

#2: Aileron - (2nd elevator channel). Set it at whatever percentage the other one is at.

For both of the mixes, set it on the same switch as your Dual Rates are on. Set it so it is active when the switch is on high rates.

What I just described is for the elevators acting as ailerons, in conjunction with the ailerons. Is this what you were looking for? Or do you want to do Flaperons?

Well, On high rate. I want the ailerons to come up a little with the elevator or down with the elevator. Does that make any sense or do I have it backwards? I am trying to get into 3d flying this year.

No, thats fine. just go to the Flaperon menu and mix them so they go up with up elevator application. You may need to use a negative percentage to make them go the right way. Set the switch to your D/R switch and the position for high rates.
