Using Futaba 7CAP for a Heli

I was curious if anyone was using the airplane version of Futaba's 7C for their Heli? I am sure it is possible but not sure if all the options are there like the ccpm and gyro setup. I am going to give it a try and would like to know if anyone has done it and what the results were. I will try to keep everyone updated.

From what I have read the only difference is the throttle ratchet. Can't confirm this as I have the helicopter version. Ratchetless throttle sticks makes it easier to find that sweet spot for hovering.

The software is identical. The throttle ratchet is an easy mod which you will definately want to do, you will find you like the smooth throttle better for airplane flying as well.

The other difference is switch position. On the top of the transmitter the H version has the 3 position switch on the left used for flight modes and the two position on the right used for throttle hold. These switches are reversed on the A version and it will be important to point out to any regular heli flyer assisting you that throttle hold will be on the left.

Other than those minor issues thats it.
