Better batteries=Better Range?
 

Ok so I have been thinking on this one for awhile now and was wondering is it true that if you get duracells or energizers over the walmart cheapos will they give you more range with your radio? Im trying to convince my brother into getting some nice duracells or energizers for his 3pm so that its not so glitchy and has more range. Which company of batteries do you use? Do you think it will make a difference depending on what battery's I use?

I'd rather get rechargeable NiMh batteries and a charger.

So long as the voltage stays within operational values the quality of the battery has absolutely NOTHING to do with range. Not even when we required "A" and "B" batteries for our Rxs.

That's like saying a car with a 25 gallon gas tank is faster than one with a fifteen gallon tank-------sorry, does not compute.
