Any 4-channel FM receivers for Futaba????

Does Futaba make any 4-channel FM receivers (i.e. for airplane use) that are not meant to be used for parkflyers?

I checked Tower Hobbies, and they don't carry any. Then I checked Futaba, and it seems as though they don't have any either. They have a few AM receivers, but no FM's.

So now what? Am I stuck purchasing a 6-channel receiver or using an AM receiver (for an airplane)?

Use Berg or an FMA receiver as they work well with Futba Xmtrs

With the advance of technology, the case size is the same. It is simply no longer economic to produce and distribute a full range and performance, especially dual conversion, 4ch RX suitable for all model types as the demand is no longer there - most users now seek a minimum of 6 channel systems to cater for dual ailerons and other mixes. Given that many 6 ch systems are as cheap as most 4ch systems and offer many more features, it is rare to see any new 4ch systems at the field or pond, even local LHS no longer carry 4ch systems as stock items.
FWIW, Sanwa/Airtronics no longer include a 6ch RX with their 4ch TX systems and include their latest 8ch (RX831), which is a smaller size case as the old 6ch, with all VG systems.

Be aware if your Tx is an FM type you cannot use an AM rx.
