DX6-AR6000 Range ?

Wondering what the range is with the DX6-AR6000 ssetup ? Though this is a 'Park Flyer' system, it notes that the AR6000 reciever has a range beyond regular Park Flyer recievers. I am looking for a 2.4 system for my small EDF's ..... which usually fly beyond regular 'Park Flyer range' .... but well short of 'full range'. The small size of the AR6000 is attractive ....... but I want to make sure I have adequate range. Thanks. Bob

RE: DX6-AR6000 Range ?

I fly the Phase3 Phantom EDF with the DX6-6000 without any problem. It gets pretty high and far out fast. I don't think range is a problem at all. What might be a problem is if the signal gets blocked by metal like a big engine or maybe a huge battery.

We have a pilot using a DX6 to fly his Easy Glider. I would say he is our at least 2000 feet with no problems.
