Negative and Positive side

Whats the negative and positive sides of the receiver for the servos? It's a 2 channel radio.
Thanks

If you're talking about plugging in servos they will only work one way, they won't hurt anything the other.

What about the battery? I'm sure if I plug the battery charged in the positive where the negative is suppose to me, that won't be to good.

Nope, just won't power on. When you plug in the battery lead reversed, the positive lead is still on the correct pin, the negative pin is on the signal pin, but that doesn't hurt anything, just a no go situation;).
Good luck,
Pete

What pilotpete said is usually true, unless you are using a Futaba 127 reciever. On that model, the signal pin is jumpered to the positive (middle) pin on the battery slot only. Plug the battery in backward and you will fry your switch harness. If you plug it into any other channel though, no harm will be done.

Hi Rodney,
Wow, first time I've heard about that. Why the heck would they do that???

Why? Wish I knew. I did not believe it when first told but I have three of these receivers so I opened them up and, sure enough, on the battery slot the copper trace shorts the center pin to the signal pin. I also saw one someone else connected the battery to the receiver backward and melted the insulation off the switch harness and burned it in two.
