RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
Where did you find the photo. I looked on Futaba and Towers site and no mention of it.
Don Added, in fact a google only shows one link and it is to this thread. Don |
RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
I suspect it might be an Aresti-RCU original :)

RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
If so, someone has to much time on their hand. I don't think it is though as there are a number of differences between it and the 9C or 9C supper. The push buttons on the left of the screen are round vs rechtangles on the 9c's, The logo in under the screen vs above it on the 9c's. The three knobs and the power and RF lights are different. Acutually when you take a close look, there are a number of things different enough that some photo shop magic on a 9C photo would seen not to be the case.
We'll see though won't we. Don |
RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
Ah!! the pleasure of having a home on both sides of the Atlantic... go to www.robbe.de, click on the EU flag on the bottom left side of the screen, then in new items, and finally radio control systems. They also had the 12FG on their web page well before it was announced here.

RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
More info from the Robbe site:
Fully expanded computer system of superior quality. Successor to the proven FF-9 system, now with ultra-large backlit LCD graphic screen. Focal point is the large, high-resolution 160 x 72 dot graphic screen with extra-large dots for good legibility; all settings are entered and displayed using the screen. The system´s graphical user interference is very easy to program using just four control buttons and the 3-D hotkey. New precision stick units with digital trims and variable trim increments, eliminating the need for trim adjustment or trim storage when you switch model memories. The trim values are displayed on-screen in bar graph form. The side-mounted rotary controls provide a practical means of controlling auxiliary functions without letting go of the sticks. The transmitter is fully expanded as standard, with five analogue rotary controls and eight switches, and requires no additional accessories. The switches or other transmitter controls can be selected for almost all functions without restriction. Comprehensive software includes all the necessary functions for power models, gliders and model helicopters. Plenty of freely programmable mixers, including types with five-point curves, make it straightforward to set up complex mixer functions. The transmitter can optionally be operated in FM or PCM mode, and is compatible with all FM and PCM 1024 receivers in the current robbe/Futaba range. The system can also be converted to the new 2.4 GHz FASST technology simply by installing a FASST 2.4 GHz module. TM-10 module = 8 + 2 channels; TM8 module = 8 channels, TM7 module = 7 channels. In PCM 1024 mode the system offers a total of ten channels (eight proportional, two switched channels); the same applies if the TM10 2.4 GHz module is used. With FM modulation a maximum of eight proportional channels are available. The software is available in six languages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish or Dutch. Integral H3 (1:1:1) swashplate mixer for CCPM rotor head linkage (140°), plus the H4X linkage for 45° swashplate rotation. Integral Trainer system with individual function transfer. With charge socket, prepared for use with rechargeable batteries. The stick units are designed for universal mode, and are easily converted by the user from "Throttle right" to "Throttle left". Fifteen internal model memories, infinite expansion available using CAMPac modules: CAMPac module 4k = 1 model CAMPac module 16k = 4 models CAMPac module 64k = 16 models CAMPac module 16x64k = 256 models |
RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!

I wonder how long it will take to get it here? Also, they mention a new 2.4 module? TM-10 module = 8 + 2 channels http://at.robbe-online.net/rims_at.s...View/1&2DF7032 |

RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
Its still just an 8 channel proportional like the 9z and 9c. The 9z was really an 8+2 channel in PCM mode. It has a secret 10th channel that is always on. All you need is a modified rx to use it.
|
RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
Could someone explain the difference between 8+2 and 10 channels? Thanks.

RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
ORIGINAL: harphunt Could someone explain the difference between 8+2 and 10 channels? Thanks. 8+2= 8 proportional channels and 2 two position channels. 10 channeles = 10 proportional channels. Regards Alfredo |
RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
So you would get 8 variable channels, like a throttle or elevator etc, and 2 channels that would work for retracts, choke....
Usually you have a couple of channels that you use like an on/off switch anyway... I know some people who use their throttle like that ;) |
RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
Get it now! Thanks.
PEACE |

RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
Nothing. Just a different form and it has a bigger TX battery. Software is identical.
|
RE: Futaba 10CAP!!!!!
Is there the same price difference($800 US) in Europe between the 14MZ and the 40FX? I also prefer the European style transmitters.
