The FASST version is complete with the R6014FS 14 channel receiver

I wonder if there will be PPM/PCM versions - and if the 2.4 is native or a module. It's 1024 resolution, not 2048......

The one question I still have though is, does it use an RF module and can I use my 9c Modules in. I'm not ready to swallow the Fasst pill yet.

HUH? The R6014FS is a 2048 RX. Unless you found something that says the TX is only 1024 which I haven't seen yet.

HUH?.....Bruce it is listed above in the 10C overview.........................why always so quick to kill when someone posts something you think is wrong?
seems like you are a bit grouchy these days....maybe from all the speculation threads that keep popping up?

How many channels? 8+2 OR 12 channels?

Doesn't appear to be up on the Futaba web site yet.

Based on this I expect there will not be a 9C 2.4 GHz. This seems to cover that spot.

Looks good!

Wonder if there will be a 72 MHz version.

Yep, I missed it. Like I said "which I haven't seen yet". Me grouchy? Nah, but I hear it in YOUR post. "quick to kill when someone posts something you think is wrong?" If I had been correct it would have been important to correct the info. As it is, he was correct and now I know it. Isn't that the purpose of asking a question? To gain information?

I think there will be 72 Mhz version. We in europe have 35 Mhz and 40 Mhz and 2.4 Ghz. So there should be also 72 Mhz version.

It is module based radio. So u can switch whenever you want to another frequency.

I wish Futaba would go "integrated" 2.4 for those that never intend to fly 72Mhz.

What's the point? It gains you nothing, and means that Futaba has to build two radios instead of one, thus typically causing an increased cost due to lower volumes for each. I don't get it . . . modules don't limit anything . . . . And what if 900MHz catches on, or perhaps 5.8GHz, or whatever . . . it sure would be nice to not have to pitch the radio to move to it . . . .

I'm with you man, I only fly Futaba but they are really frustating me with this add-on module theme on the new 2.4 radios. 2.4ghz is the future. Can anyone tell me when technology has ever taken a step backwards? If you still wish to fly 72mhsz keep your old 72mhz radio and upgrade your existing planes one at a time to 2.4. to me that is safer when compared to taking a module on and off all of the time, that can't be good for the contact points on the radio, and you can upgrade at your own pace.

I don't want to spend $600 or $1200 on a radio that looks like something was added to it. being able to put 72mhz on these radios was/is a complete waste if you ask me.. and quite frankly it is what has stopped me from buying the 12FG, I don't want a pieced together $1200 radio I want something that looks whole and complete. Another thing that has frustrated me about the 2.4ghz radios is the balance. The radios... the 6, 7, and 12 anyway, still don't have the balanced feel like 72mhz radios do with the antenna out, they feel bottom heavy. Bottom line is that I want a 2.4ghz radio designed from the bottom up to be 2.4 with the clean look and balance that I have come to expect from my Futaba radios.

I will however probally by the 10CAP...that is until they come out something that is higher end that is a true 2.4ghz radio.

I compared the new 10Cap to the 9CAP and there both about the same but only with an extra channel. Now if they cpuld only incorperate and on line update systom for the 10C like the 12FG,12Z & 14Z. That would be cool.

I have the 12FG that I bought as a 2.4GHz and, to me, it doesn't look like an afterthought. It looks like it's meant to be like that, it has great balance, unlike a DX7 that I used yesterday! I think that the module system is the right way to go. It means that Futaba can create one radio for the whole world and only have to create modules for 2.4GHz, 72Mhz, 75MHz, 40MHz, 36MHz, 35MHz, 29MHz & 27MHz. That means that one radio covers at least 8 markets. Makes business sense and business sense means better prices.

When the 9C came out here in Australia it cost as much as I paid for my 12FG almost 8 years later. For my money, Futaba needs to keep up the module system!

I think the real problem is that the receiver that comes with the 10C is a R6014FS that's 2048 resolution. The 10C is 1024 resolution. 1024 and 2048 are incompatible. So it capable of switching between 1024 and 2048?
512 and 1024 are incompatible. so whats upt with the rec

any thoughts bax/Krysta?

Same question here. why double the price for 1st extra channel and 2.4? JR 9303 is also priced about the same as 10c.

Would it be more competitive if Futaba's 10C is priced less, say $450?
