New AR7000 Spektrum Receiver
 

I purchased a Specktrum AR7000 receiver today from my LHS. It now has a data port for the flight recorder. I have used the dataport on my JR921's with excellent results. I hope to test the AR7000 this weekend. Does anyone have the new AR7000 with the dataport? Danny at Horizon said they would not be upgrading the old ones.

I installed my new AR7000 receiver. It has the quick-connect feature + the leds blink when the power is removed and quickly restored. The battery/ data port requires a y-connector for the Flight Log to work. It also comes with the binding plugs and lanyard(the first AR7000 did not come with binding plug and the leds do not blink). The new AR7000 is the same price and it comes with complete directions and diagrams including the Flight Log(sold seperate).
