Hobbico CS126 vs Hitec HS-5475HB

Are these the same servo or is there a difference I'm missing?

Well.......For starters, the 5475 Hitec is programable,a real plus in control/surface set/up---

I think they both have the Karbonite gears but the ad for Hobbico just says that they last 4 times longer but maybe Hitec won't let them use the Karbonite name.

For average sport flying you don't need to program a servo do you? What can you program that you can't do through the radio?

In your case you could be right---but if you have a single control/surface that uses more than one servo, there is no substitute for programable servos---also dual elev. servos, even though the two halves are separate, one servo needs to be reversed & they both need to be EXACTLY matched in center & endpoints (can do that with programmer) and then can be driven with a simple "Y" harness from a single channel---there is more, but I'm sure you get the idea---
