TBM Power HD servos

I remember some quality issues awhile back. Just wondering if things have improved. I'm interested in the HD1501MG. Any opinions?

RE: TBM Power HD servos

I have 6 Power HD1501MG servos in my 2.3 Extra 330 Comp Arf.So far they are working pretty good.
Being these are not digital, they do not recenter at times. Not off by much but it happens.I am running Life 6.6v battery with them
and have no problems.Speed of the servo is OK,for me anyway.I bought mine from HobbyKing when they had them.$11.99 each.plus shipping.I have 2 on split elevator,2 on ailerons and 2 on rudder.Rudder servos will hold knife edge on low rates. So far I like them, but time will tell.:D

Here is a video of my Comp Arf flying with the 1501mgs.

Great info. I guess I should have mentioned I'll be using them in warbirds and general sport flying. I'm not skilled enough for 3D.

I am not a 3D pilot yet,I would say an advanced sport flyer:D.
These would work very good for warbirds and sport flying.
