New track Fort Smith, Ar/Pocola, Ok area
http://www.rc-offroad.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=56
I just visited this track today and it is going to be great! Offroad, big track, elec avail. Already up and running, but not finished as of yet. Should be racing by April1. Visit link for more info. Feel free to contact me and I will try to answer any questions. I live about 1 mile from track.

Looks like there will be two new tracks in Ft Smith area. Ft Smith Riverfront ORV park, off the Arkansas River, has been planning one also and is finalizing the construction bid this week.

After construction starts, it's expected to be about 2 months for the area to be completed. The track will be off road, ~100' x 100' with 10'-12' lanes.
The drivers stand is still not finalized, the park owner has a tractor trailer he wants to use, I've suggested using an ocean storage container or building a stand. Power should be available within the next 2 weeks, depending on how fast the power company installs it.
I've been trying to get this done for the past few years and finally got the go ahead to start on it. I've been given several acres to use, if the track gets a decent turnout regularly, I'll be allowed to put in other tracks.
Clay is the biggest hurdle right now, the park owner wants to use what's on the property, and clay is scarce there.
We plan on getting it ROAR sanctioned.
The park is at the Arkansas River on Midland, across the street from Shamrock and Crazy Earls, it's ~300 acres.
