ya i've run my caster on the track and so far the only issue i've found is the turnbuckles are very weak (broke one first lap out lol).
you can get the upgraded ones for $10 and they are bulletproof.
mine is just as fast as my buddys jammin with the castle system.
once you get it dialed in (diff fluids, shock oils ect) the caster seems just as good as the others out there.
the body is very thick but brittle i already had to get a new body.
we run every other saturday 11am till we are done lol.
our website is team-corr.com.

Followed some of your posts in caster forums. I ordered a ex1.5r should arrive wed. hope to get it running by the weekend with any luck. Nitro buggy is cool but electric makes it easier for us no need for pit man. From what I've read if you add better chassis braces you should be happy with Castor.

well so far i've beat the snot out of it and it takes it very well lol.
the only issue i'm having is the upper hinge pins keep coming loose.
i'll be working on it this weekend to try and fix that issue.
other than that it runs great and handles good.
i put a spectrum system in it and it's much better that the stock 2.4 system it came with.

I bought used EX-1but Chassis is to bent to race going to convert to EX 1.5 for $89 When they get instock at Castor or Holeshothobbies. That will make 2 Castor EX-1.5's in the family. I think for larger outdoor tracks electric 1/8th or SCT trucks are the way to go.

Ok I have the Million Dollar question. I have been out of the hobby for a few years and I want to get back into it. Right now I have no clue what is a good buggy to get, and of course I would like to keep it in the mid price range. Opinions are welcome. Or is there someone here that has one for sale?
