T Maxx Racers, give me a hand...Pleeeeze!
I am finishing a rebuild of a 2.5 chassis. I am using the Pro-Line steering/servo saver kit, Proline larger ball ends, Nova aluminum arms, Hardcore knuckles, Traxxas turnbuckles, and Traxxas aluminum pillows.
When I simulate braking and acceleration on the alignment bench, under braking the front tires are toeing out almost 1/4" each, conversely, the rears under braking are toeing in almost the same. The opposite is true under simulated acceleration (loading the rear suspension).....
I have checked a BONE STOCK E-Maxx and it does not do this, also my JT Hybrid chassis with all factors being the same except it has Pro-Line A-Arms , does not move at all under either end loading.....
Is it the A-Arms? Is this Bump Steer?
I am really puzzled by this, and it does not look right at all. We have not run the truck yet to see how it handles, but I thought I would float it out there and get some oppinions of more experienced tuners.
