Was just up there yesterday with a guy after the rain hit and we did a little shovel work to some of the jumps.. we turned that weak set in the back into a 20foot double with a 2 foot lip . I plan on going back today around 2:30-3:00pm to work on them a little more and run my truck. If anyone wants to go hit me on my cell, just text. 949-273-9107

I was up there today to check it out. Much better than the Bake track, just needs some TLCand some broom action.

As soon as my Slash 4x4 is back up I will be out there... probably mid week next week before noon and on Sundays.

For Quail Run? I doubt anyone would have it. Go check out the hidden track on Regency...

Finally got my truck up and running. Hit up the hidden track today which is a very fast track for my 4x4. Lots of fun. Some of the lips are too steep and are not consistent. I will head out with a shovel next time it rains to work on them.

There is a new place to run both boat and truck r/c's in Irvine. It is located at Traveland USA off Sand Canyon and I-5. Apparently the owner of Traveland came into Gyro Hobbies store and told everyone to come out there. I don't think there is a formal track, more of a bash spot, but you may be able to build jumps and the like. I haven't been there yet but it sounds legit.

***UPDATE*** I stopped by Traveland USA and spoke with a gentleman named Ron, he is the new events coordinator there. He wants to build r/c race tracks on the property there but doesn't quite know how to approach it. He is interested in building an offroad track, a street track, and also has a smallish pond he wants r/c boats in. As of right now it seems to be a marketing tactic to get people into the park and it will be a free place to run and race, more or less entertainment for folks visiting the grounds. He is pursuing this very aggressively and needs some peeps that have experience in building r/c race tracks to help with the layout, construction and logistics of the project. This is a great opportunity for the local r/c community to come together and build something cool for us. As I mentioned Ron is aggressively pursuing this and needs your help. Who knows where this goes, but it's on private land with an invitation for us to come and play. I would be more than willing to help with construction or anything else that would be helpful. It could turn into something very cool. Please contact Ron at 949-279-4550 and he will be eager to show you around the facility. I went over there yesterday and he was practically begging me for help in the endeavor. Also feel free to respond to me via emai ryan.flippin@cox.net.
