They only race on every other sunday.....I believe they just raced last sunday so the next racing day will be the following sunday on the 15th....... However on non-racing days they open up the track for practice which is 5 bucks for hesperia residents and 7 for non...... racing is 12 plus 3 dollars for the transponder rental

Suppose to Start in April, and end before JBRL race.
Suppose to have the fliers Wednesday at the slotcar track.
We will pass fliers out at the track on Sunday.
Yes, there is a discount for People who donate their time to track work on Thursday at 3:30 and Saturday morning.

Dave I think he meant is there a discount for the second class you enter. Like if you pay 12 for your buggy entry is it any cheaper for your second entry of truggy class?

Looks like it is time for the machine to be the devils advocate again.First, Dave what does turn marshaling have to do with a discount for an entry for a 2nd class, are you turning racers away if they want to run 2 classes ??, that should get people come out and race????!!! Second,To all racers, why does it mater when the tractor is going to be here the track is a mess and needs a lot of work that does not require a tractor ( although the tiller needs to be fixed so it can be utilized ) what if nobody helped work on the track then there wouldn't be any body coming out to race, then there will not be a locale track

lol. well some of us have 3 little kids a full time job and a wife that works nights oh ya and has college classes during the week
So if I am going to get out and help once in awhile I would like to be there when a tractor is there so we could get more stuff done

well those are all good reasons and you do help more than anyone else. Butt the track is run and maintained by VOLUNTEERS. and we are getting burned out[sm=drowning.gif]

I imagine, you guys work your butts off. Dang too bad we couldn't work our bellies off I am pretty sure most people don't realize what all you guys do. Well i'll try and help out more. Most likely it would be on Saterdays. I think I need to bring out my video camera next race day so we can post some of our race footage[sm=wink_smile.gif]
